When it comes to home furnishings and home décor it is generally the female voice that prevails as that of the authority, influencing if not
outright dictating styles, tones, fabrics, accessories and most of the furniture that will reside within the home.
Most of the furniture, but by no means all of it.
Mention
flat panel televisions and you can bet all the chips from his Saturday night poker game his eyes are sure to light up.
But even the laziest of boys can’t envision nights watching the game without doing it from the latest in comfort and that means, in short, the latest in
recliners.
While it may not be obvious to the most casual of observiers, recliners are so much more than family room furnishings, and so much more than just chairs.
They are, at the very least, a hard won right and worth every penny spent.
Just how many pennies may have to be extracted from the
piggy bank depends on personal taste and style.
Recliners can vary from about a hundred dollars to hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars. But money isn’t
the primary motivator when it comes to recliners.
It all comes down to comfort. And to the space available. And, let's face it, unless you're a bachelor, to your spouse's approval, however noncommital that may
appear to be.
Newer models of recliners tend to be sleeker and more fashionable both in styling and color.
And technology has come to play a larger role with the production of
massage recliners or the latest of trends, video game recliners that feature speakers, console plug-ins, rocking capabilities and of course, need we say it again,
comfort.
It all comes down to comfort. And to the space available. And comfort.
