There’s no getting around it, December is about decking the halls but you need not limit yourself to bows of holly. (Hali is, in fact, the Turkish word for rug so maybe decking the halls with bows of holly is a subliminal message that this may well be the year to consider a new hallway runner. Area rugs are one of the easiest way to enliven and embolden a décor theme without a lot of expense.)
December is about the holiday season and that all comes down to friends and family. But in the end, it’s about the present.
