August is just another word for regal, majestic or simply living in luxury. Or lying in beautiful imported linens with a thread count beyond your wildest dreams. But you need not limit yourself to the luxury of a sheet set. Recline on a chaise lounge that transports you back to the Victorian era or discover and envelope yourself in duvets and comforters reminiscent of the palace nights at Versailles.
Luxury should always be comfortable, but it’s a much easier statement to make when other people can see it. From waterfall wall treatments to outdoor décor, lightscaping, sculptures and fountains, the only statement you really need to make is one that reflects your personal taste, and that’s always good.
Of course, should you tire of lounging in the lap of luxury don’t be afraid to hand the responsibility off to the one family member who knows exactly how to handle it as designer dog beds are among the hottest of trends.
